A protaganist in my book that i really enjoy and is very major is the character of John Brooks. He doesnt know anything about happynest excewpt with Lena. He is very strong and is almost a bully inn my book. He sees thing the way he wants to see them and is almost trying to steal lena away from ethan and is succeedin g alot because he has a power of persasion. Not a power just the way he sppeaks walks talks and acts can get peoopple to do as he says.He seems to have a totally diffrent flow when with lena he seems almost at peace and happy and seems to do anything for her and wouold protect her a all cost but that is hard when she has a decision that affects everyone in her family.
He wants to be with lena and wants to have a good life but it seems as if he cares more about the great barrier then anytrhing else in the world. He only wants to go to a place were he doesn;t feel diffrent and thats were he and lena have a lot in common becasue lena feels as though shje is to diffrent fromn everyone and is being judged by it. Lena and john have a conncetion but the great barrier is figuralerty a bariier in between and choses wether or not they get close to each other.
If only love would have no bounds and if only john knew he was endangering the one he loves by bringing her into his wild fantasy becasue sarafine and abraham lenas mom and great grandfather are waiting for them ott do something big that will either desroy the big desicion which lena has to make saying wether or not what sid eof her family will live the light casters or the dark casters. Life being a caster in the caster wolrd is difficult but it seems as though John brooks is only making it harder then it alr4eady is becasie of his dreams and the similarties between John and lenas perspective on how there viewed by people in the world.
